Army Coup in Japan. Premier and leading Statesman assassinated. Three thousand men comprising the 3rd Infantery Regiment of the 1st Division have carried out a military coup in Tokyo. Admiral Okada, Premier, and two other leading statesmen have been assassinated. The soldiers, led by a Captain Nonaka, broke ranks while on the way to the station to entrain for Manchukuo. Riots and incendiarism followed the assassinations ans a partial form of Martial Law has been established in the city. Photo Shows: The Japanese Diet in session at Tokyo. NI 1435
