Daughter of Japanese Emperor at great athletic meeting in Tokyo. Princess Teru, the eldest daughter of the Emperor of Japan, was present at the All-Union young men and women's athletic meeting in Tokyo. The great contest was part of Japan's determined efforts to promote health and fitness among young men and women to ensure the carrying on of Japan's mission in the far East.
