Twice raised from the sea. Curving 'beach' formation shows levels where ever receding water stood. Pipe line on stiles in background pumps water from distant pools farther inland. Some fishing nets are drying against the netting hung up to the prevent floating debris from bumping the piles during storms when the water was still high. Crudely made barge in front was made by farmers and used by them to evacuate their families and their livestock when the floods came.
